RevTrack Privacy Policy

Last updated: 13 September 2026

RevTrack ("the app") is a ride-tracking app for car enthusiasts, operated by Kevin Nassar and Julien Achkar ("we", "us"). This policy explains what personal data the app collects, why, who it is shared with, and what choices you have.

If you have questions, contact us at arevtrack@gmail.com.

1. Data we collect

DataWhy we collect itWhen
Email address, display name, and Google account identifier To create and authenticate your account, and to show your name/handle to other drivers on the leaderboard and in friend search. When you sign in with Google.
Precise location (GPS) To record your rides — distance, speed, and route — and to show local driving conditions. Location is recorded while a ride is active, including with the screen off, via an Android foreground service. Only while you are recording a ride, or viewing the map/weather.
Ride and vehicle data Distance, top speed, ride count, per-track best times, vehicle details, fuel and maintenance entries. Aggregate stats (handle, distance, ride count, top speed, track bests) are published so you appear on the shared leaderboard. When you log a ride or edit your garage.
Photos you upload Photos of your vehicle, used to display your car and — if you use the 3D reconstruction feature — to generate a 3D model of it. Only when you choose to upload them.
Push notification token A Firebase Cloud Messaging device token, so we can notify you about activity relevant to you (for example, a friend beating your time on a track). On sign-in, and when the token is refreshed.
Analytics and diagnostic data App usage events, device model, OS version, and a resettable app-instance identifier, collected automatically by Google Firebase Analytics to help us understand usage and fix problems. While using the app.

2. Who we share data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers needed to operate the app:

We may also disclose data where required by law, or to protect our rights and the safety of our users.

3. What other users can see

RevTrack is a social app. Other signed-in drivers can see your display name, handle, vehicle tag, and your aggregate ride stats (distance, ride count, top speed, and per-track best times) on the leaderboard and in friend search. They cannot see your email address, your recorded routes, or your precise location.

4. How long we keep data

We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. Ride routes and vehicle photos are stored on your device and are removed when you delete them or uninstall the app. Leaderboard and track-stat records are retained until your account is deleted.

5. Deleting your account and data

You can request deletion of your account and all associated data — your account record, leaderboard entries, follows, track stats, and device tokens — by emailing arevtrack@gmail.com. We will action the request within 30 days.

6. Your choices

7. Children

RevTrack is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Security

Data in transit is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS. Access to stored data is restricted by row-level security rules so that drivers can only modify their own records. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. International transfers

Our service providers may process and store data on servers outside your country. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above, and where appropriate we will notify you in the app.
